Dental Receptionist Job Opportunity in Toronto

Our client, a dental office located in Toronto (Bay/Bloor), is seeking an experienced Dental Receptionist. The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic team player dedicated to patient care. Please note, this office is a non-assignment office.

Position/Job Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Dental Receptionist

Location:

Toronto (Bay/Bloor)

Hours:

Mat leave coverage for 12-18 months starting September

  • Monday to Thursday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, Friday 9:00 am - 1:00 pm / 2:00 pm
Compensation:

To be determined based on experience and performance

Job Responsibilities:
  • Greet patients warmly and professionally
  • Create a positive first impression and foster long-term patient relationships
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments via telephone and in person
  • Send appointment confirmations and follow-up communications
  • Provide patients with information about the dental office and direct calls appropriately
  • Prepare and submit treatment plan predeterminations
  • Verify completed procedures, collect payments, and submit insurance claims electronically
  • Manage mail, payments, and referral documents
  • Maintain accurate patient charts and records
  • Monitor and order office supplies as needed
  • Coordinate with couriers and laboratories
  • Ensure the reception area is clean and organized
