Job summary

Summit Dental Clinic in Kamloops is seeking a passionate Dental Hygienist to join a friendly, growth-focused team. With over 26 years serving the Kamloops community, we deliver comprehensive general and cosmetic dental care in a warm environment where patients feel cared for and staff feel valued.

You will perform clinical hygiene services, educate patients on preventative care, and help grow the practice with modern tools.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Dental Hygiene Diploma or Degree is required.
• Current registration as a Dental Hygienist in good standing is required.
• Valid CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Appropriately assess, plan, implement and evaluate services for patient care.
• Perform all aspects of clinical preventative hygiene services including scaling, root planing, polishing, topical fluoride, sealants and whitening.
• Serve as an oral health educator by introducing new preventative techniques and counselling.
• Establish and retain patient loyalty by delivering a tailored experience with ethical and professional behaviour.

The wage for this Dental Hygienist position is$54-$57/hourdepending onskills, experience, and location.

Your Role:

About You:

• Completion of a Dental Hygiene Diploma or Degreeisrequired
• Current registration as a Dental Hygienist in good standing with the provincial regulatory bodyisrequired
• Valid CPR certificationisrequired
