Job summary

Kimberley Family Dental in Kimberley, BC is seeking a passionate Dental Hygienist to join our growing practice. You will provide preventative hygiene services, patient education, and contribute to high-quality care in a friendly community setting.

We value teamwork, modern technology, and a patient-first approach. Completion of a Dental Hygiene Diploma, active registration, and CPR certification are required.

Qualifications

  • Completion of a Dental Hygiene Diploma or Degree is required.
  • Current registration as a Dental Hygienist in good standing with the provincial regulatory body is required.
  • Valid CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

  • Appropriately assess, plan, implement and evaluate services for patient care.
  • Perform all aspects of clinical preventative hygiene services including scaling, root planing, polishing, topical fluoride, sealants and whitening.
  • Serve as an oral health educator by introducing new preventative techniques and counselling.
  • Establish and retain patient loyalty by delivering a tailored experience based on the patients’ expectations with ethical and professional behaviour.

Schedule:

$55-$60/hour depending on skills, experience, and location.

Your Role:

  • Serve as an oral health educator by introducing new preventative techniques and counselling
  • Establish and retain patient loyalty by delivering a tailored experience based on the patients’ expectations, while consistently maintaining ethical and professional behaviour
About You:
  • Completion of a Dental Hygiene Diploma or Degree is required
  • Current registration as a Dental Hygienist in good standing with the provincial regulatory body is required
  • Valid CPR certification is required
