Job summary

Hallmark-Dental-Laboratory is seeking a skilled Dental Ceramist Technician to join our Nova Scotia lab. You will fabricate zirconia, metal and PFM prosthetics, wax and cast, glaze and stain, and ensure high-quality dental devices for clients.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in dental ceramics, strong attention to detail, and excellent record-keeping and communication skills to support our 45+ year legacy in Atlantic Canada.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of dental ceramics experience.
• Degree in Dental Technology preferred.
• Good time management skills.
• Strong critical thinking skills.
• Proficiency in keeping detailed records and meeting deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Technical knowledge of dental procedures and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Polish dental prostheses and devices.
• Fabricate zirconia, metal and PFM prosthetics.
• Waxing and casting gold crowns, bridges and frameworks.
• Layer zirconia and metal structures.
• Perform gingival ceramics work.
• Construct prostheses for clients by replacing wax with suitable materials.
• Make color adjustments for prosthetic teeth.
• Replace natural teeth with prosthetics and implants.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of dental technologies and best practices.
