Job summary

Hallmark Dental Lab in Canada is seeking a skilled dental laboratory technician to design dental devices and craft crowns, bridges, implants, and dentures. The role involves preparing plaster models, moulds, and wax work, with a focus on precision and patient comfort.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of experience in a commercial dental laboratory, a college certificate in dental technology, and a strong attention to detail. On-site work is required at our Nova Scotia facility.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in dental laboratory technology.
• Experience with design, fabrication and repair of dental devices.
• Ability to prepare plaster models and moulds.

Responsibilities

• Design dental devices.
• Fabricate and repair crowns, bridges or implants.
• Modify dentures and orthodontic appliances, including full or partial dentures.
• Prepare plaster models and moulds.
• Maintain and order dental lab supplies.
• Mould wax over dentures set-up.
• Prepare wax bite-blocks and impression trays.
• Pack plastic material in moulds to form dentures.
• Polish and buff dentures.
