Job description

Enlist as a Soldier into the United States Army and as a Dental Specialist (68E), you'll receive the specialized training needed to assist Army dentists in the examination and treatment of servicemembers’ teeth. You'll help the dentist prepare for operations by selecting and arranging instruments and by taking patient’s dental impressions and X-rays. You’ll also manage the dental offices and patient records, perform preventive cleanings, take the patient’s blood pressure, pulse, and help administer anesthesia when needed. This is not a civilian contractor position.

No experience necessary. Position is entry level.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A U.S. citizen or permanent resident with a valid Green Card
  • 17 to 34 Years Old
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Meet Tattoo Guidelines
  • No Major Law Violations
  • No Medical Concerns

TESTING & CERTIFICATIONS:

  • 16 Nationally Recognized Certifications Available
  • 10 weeks of Basic Training
  • 8 weeks of Advanced Individual Training
  • 91 ASVAB Score: Skilled Technical (ST)
