Qualifications

  • Registered as a Dental Assistant with provincial body.
  • Preferred previous experience in dental assisting.

About Us:

Sandy Hill Dental Centre is located near the University of Ottawa. We have been serving the Sandy Hill community and uOttawa students for over 30 years. We also offer bilingual services to accommodate all of our patients. Our historic building creates a relaxed atmosphere that will make our patients feel more like they are visiting a friend's home rather than a dental office! We offer a comprehensive range of dental services including general dentistry, cosmetic, and Orthodontics-Invisalign.

Schedule:
Monday -Wednesday 8:00am to 4:00pm

Responsibilities:

  1. Clinical chairside assisting duties including knowledge of instrumentation

  2. Establish strong patient relationships while maintaining ethical professional behaviour

  3. Prepare treatment room in accordance with infection control and practice protocols for each patient

  4. Thorough understanding of practice health and safety requirements

About You:

  1. Registered and/or certified as a Dental Assistant with your Provincial regulatory body or association

  2. Previous dental assisting experience is preferred
