Kimberley Family Dental in Kimberley, BC, is seeking a passionate Dental Assistant to cover maternity leave starting January 22, 2027. You will prep treatment rooms, assist dentists and hygienists, take dental X-rays, and help maintain a clean, safe practice.

This role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with no evenings or weekends, competitive pay, RRSP matching, and a supportive team that prioritizes patient care, ongoing education, and work‑life balance in a mountain community.

Competenze

Registered and/or Certified as a Dental Assistant with provincial regulatory body.
Previous dental assisting experience preferred.

Mansioni

Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
Assist dentists and hygienists during treatments, maintaining patient comfort and workflow.
Take dental X-rays and digital images as required.
Perform instrument sterilization and infection control following IPAC standards.
Update patient charts and provide education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
Support scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks.
Collaborate with the dental team to deliver efficient, high-quality care.
Follow all privacy, safety, and regulatory guidelines.
Establish strong patient relationships while maintaining ethical professional behaviour.
