Job summary

Limoges Dental Centre in Limoges, Ontario, is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our patient-centered team. You will prepare rooms, assist dentists, take X-rays, and maintain infection control while supporting a smooth patient flow.

Qualifications

• Registered and/or certified as a Dental Assistant with your provincial regulatory body is required.
• NDAEB certification is required.
• Bilingual English and French is preferred.
• Previous dental assisting experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
• Assist dentists and hygienists during treatments, maintaining patient comfort and workflow.
• Support the orthodontic program (training provided).
• Take dental X-rays and digital images as required.
• Perform instrument sterilization and infection control following IPAC standards.
• Update patient charts and provide education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Support scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks.
• Collaborate with the dental team to deliver efficient, high-quality care.
• Follow all privacy, safety, and regulatory guidelines.
• Establish strong patient relationships while maintaining ethical professional behaviour.
• Assist with ordering and inventory control as needed.

Schedule:

• Maternity Leave Contract.
• Monday: 8:00am - 5:00pm.
• Tuesday: 8:00am - 5:00pm.
• Wednesday:11:00am - 7:00pm.
• Thursday: 8:00am - 5:00pm.
• Friday: 8:00am - 2:00pm.

The wage for this DentalAssistantposition is$31-$36/hourdepending on skills, experience, and location.
