Job summary

Join Dawson Dental Callander Bay as a Dental Assistant and help improve our community's oral health. You will perform clinical chairside assisting duties, prepare treatment rooms, and build strong patient relationships. We're looking for someone who is registered as a Dental Assistant, providing an excellent opportunity to work in a modern practice with access to the latest technology.

Qualifications

  • Registered and/or certified as a Dental Assistant with your Provincial regulatory body or association is required.
  • Previous dental assisting experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Clinical chairside assisting duties including knowledge of instrumentation.
  • Establish strong patient relationships while maintaining ethical professional behaviour.
  • Prepare treatment room in accordance with infection control and practice protocols for each patient.
  • Thorough understanding of practice health and safety requirements.

Schedule:

Monday: 7:45 am - 6:30 pm

Tuesday: 7:45 am - 4:30 pm

Wednesday: 7:45 am - 5:30 pm

Thursday: 7:45 am - 4:30 pm

Friday: 7:30 am - 2:30 pm

Saturday (2x per month): 7:30 am - 5:30 pm
