Essential Job Responsibilities :

• Create engaging classroom learning experiences using various teaching strategies to facilitate adult learners in achieving program objectives as outlined in the curriculum.
• Motivate students to learn and help them maximize their potential.
• Develop diverse classroom strategies to ensure knowledge and skills acquisition and retention.
• Evaluate students’ performance through different academic assessments.
• Prepare academic reports, including grading sheets, attendance records, and assessments.
• Update and prepare course syllabi, outlines, and content.
• Create lesson plans and course schedules.
• Participate actively in curriculum development and updates, including manuals and guides, as requested by the Coordinator and Academic Lead.

Education and Skills Requirements :

• Post-secondary education and experience in Adult Education, Dental Assistance, or related fields (preferred).
• At least 3 years of Canadian experience as a Dental Assistant.
• At least one year of teaching experience in Dental Assistance.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively with individuals of varying skill levels.
