The role supports an orthodontic practice with a focus on patient care, hygiene, and education, while collaborating closely with a dedicated leadership team.

Qualifications

• Dental Assistant experience
• Completion of NDAEB exam (CDA)
• Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication; makes patients feel at ease
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Experience in orthodontic office is preferred but not required
• Orthodontic module is a plus but not required

Responsibilities

• Greet and bring patients to visits with enthusiasm and personalize the experience
• Deliver optimal hygiene treatment based on clinical findings and patient goals
• Educate and assist in improving patients’ oral health
• Prepare and maintain dental instruments, supplies and equipment
• Keep the clinical area organized, clean, and sterile
• Collaborate with team to foster trust, respect and cooperation
• Perform tasks delegated by the Orthodontist or leadership team
• Maintain energy and efficiency in a fast-paced environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Bring patients in for their visit in an enthusiastic way, building a personal connection at every visit.
• Ensures that patients receive optimal hygiene treatment based on clinical findings and their goal for comprehensive oral health.
• Desire to help, educate and improve our patients’ lives.
• Prepare and maintain all dental instruments, supplies and equipment.
• Organize, clean, and maintain a clean and sterile clinical area.
• Maintain a positive attitude and work cohesively with fellow team members to provide an atmosphere of trust, respect, and cooperation.
• Perform any other tasks delegated or assigned by the Orthodontist or leadership team.
• Possess great energy for a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

• Dental Assistant experience
• Successfully completed CDA (Completion of NDAEB Exam)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; written and verbal, an ability to make patients feel comfortable and at ease.
• Great time management and organizational skills
• Experience in an orthodontic office is preferred but not required.
• Orthodontic Module is considered an asset but not required.
