Job summary

Dr. Seema Steffens Dentistry in Mississauga is seeking a caring and committed Certified Dental Assistant to join our growing practice effective immediately.

You will perform intra-oral radiographs, impressions, crown/bridge procedures, and assist with cosmetic dentistry while maintaining sterilization standards. Evening availability and computer literacy are required to support patient care and clinic operations.

Qualifications

• Must hold HARP certification and be able to take intra‑oral radiographs.
• Experience as a dental assistant is required.
• Experience with sterilization and instrument reprocessing is required.
• Must be organized, a team player, and able to communicate well; patient-focused.

Responsibilities

• Take impressions and intra-oral x-rays.
• Assist with crown/bridge procedures and cosmetic dentistry.
• Maintain patient comfort and assist during procedures.
• Keep the clinic organized and maintain sterilization standards.

We are looking for a caring and committed Certified Dental Assistant for our growing dental office in Mississauga, effective immediately. Our office is expanding and we would love to hire an exceptional dental assistant who takes pride in their work and can be a part of our dental family.

Position Requirements

• HARP Certification (and experience taking intra‑oral radiographs)

Our office is looking for a team player; someone who is organized, has good communication skills, and is a responsible person. Most importantly, we want someone who really enjoys serving patients and has a natural enthusiasm for the field of dentistry.

You must be familiar with taking impressions, x‑rays, crown/bridge procedures, most aspects of cosmetic dentistry, and be motivated to continue learning. Computer knowledge is also required. Availability to work some evenings during the week is also required.
