Job description

We are hiring a full-time Dental Assistant to join our established group of dental offices. We are seeking a certified Level I or Level II dental assistant. Knowledge of Tracker is an asset but not required; training will be provided. The wage is based on experience, ranging from $25 to $39 per hour, with a preference for Level II candidates and a minimum of 2 years of experience.

The responsibilities include:

  1. Chair-side assisting in surgical and non-surgical procedures
  2. Writing and taking notes for dentists
  3. Clinical charting in the odontogram
  4. Interacting with patients, staff, and doctors
  5. Ordering and ensuring supplies are in stock from approved vendors
  6. Participating in Continuing Education events
  7. Infection control and sterilization (IPAC training provided)
  8. Clinical health and safety management
  9. Assisting with lab tasks as needed
  10. Scheduling appointments in the operatory
  11. Performing basic administrative tasks as needed (front desk)
