Job summary

R. Denninger Limited, a long-established food company in Southern Ontario, is seeking staff to provide product samples and deliver outstanding customer service at our Burlington locations. You will educate customers on Denninger’s products, set up demo stations, and communicate allergen information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provide samples of the designated Denninger’s product to our customers.
• Educate customers on the products being demonstrated.
• Set up demo station equipment (grill, tools, etc.).
• Ensure communication of allergens to customers.
• Ensure promotional protocols are followed with respect to signage, price information, etc.
• Upon ending your shift, clean your demo station and related tools/accessories.
• Other duties as assigned

Summary:

Provide samples of Denninger’s products to customers while providing excellent customer service.

Duties:

• Provide samples of the designated Denninger’s product to our customers
• Educate customers on the products being demonstrated
• Following the direction of the Department Manager or Manager, setup demo station equipment. (grill, tools etc.)
• Ensure communication of allergens to customers
• Ensure promotional protocols are followed with respect to signage, price information etc.
• Upon ending your shift, take responsibility for cleaning your demo station and related tools and accessories related to your demo
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Food handlers Certification is an asset
• Available for flexible scheduling to meet the needs of the store

Essential Job Functions:

• Stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Bend and stoop to grasp objects and climb ladders. Bend and twist neck and waist, reach above and below shoulders and squat.
• Bend and lift loads, not to exceed 25 pounds. Push and pull carts weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Repetitive use of hands for grasping, pushing, pulling, and fine manipulation.
• Environmental exposure to extreme temperatures (coolers, freezers, outdoors, etc.)
