Qualifications

  • Valid Class 5 or greater Driver’s License.

Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced Demolition Site Foreman / Forewoman to join our team on a full-time basis. The Demolition Site Foreman / Forewoman provides leadership and is responsible for, although not limited to, supervising, coordinating, and ensuring the efficient and safe execution of projects. Reporting directly to the Project Manager, the Demolition Site Foreman / Forewoman is the field level management and is expected to support and promote a strong safety culture, ensuring that all work complies with safety regulations and company policies. Travel and non-standard working hours are a requirement of the job.

Responsibilities
  • Assume overall responsibility for the successful completion of projects.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to ensure work plans are clearly communicated and understood by all team members.
  • Serve as the main point of contact on-site.
Project Planning
  • Coordinate with the Project Manager to ensure project objectives and timelines are met.
  • Maintain project records, including daily reports, progress updates, and change orders.
Safety Compliance
  • Enforce and promote a strong safety culture, ensuring that all work complies with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Conduct regular safety meetings and inspections.
Quality Assurance
  • Monitor construction activities to ensure work meets project specifications, quality standards, and industry best practices.
Resource Management
  • Coordinate with the Project Manager regarding project requirements to maintain productivity and quality.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a site foreman or construction leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of construction techniques, processes, and safety protocols.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and plans.
  • Physical fitness and the ability to perform strenuous tasks in various weather conditions.
  • Valid Class 5 or greater Driver’s License and reliable transportation to job sites is required.
Work Location

Our primary service area is all of Manitoba, but we also service Northwestern Ontario, Saskatchewan, and Western Alberta. This position does require travel, depending on project location.

Schedule

Working hours and length of shifts are determined by project requirements. This may include day shifts, evening shifts, weekend shifts, and overnight shifts when required.
