About Us

Downright Demolition Ltd. specializes in interior demolition projects throughout Edmonton, providing safe and efficient demolition services for commercial, industrial, and residential clients. We are looking for hardworking and reliable Demolition Labourers to join our team and contribute to the successful completion of our projects.

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform manual demolition of walls, ceilings, flooring, and other structures using hand and power tools.
  • Assist with the removal of debris, including loading and disposing of materials into bins or trucks.
  • Operate demolition equipment such as jackhammers, saws, and grinders safely.
  • Follow safety protocols, wear personal protective equipment (PPE), and adhere to company policies.
  • Work as part of a team to meet project deadlines efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean and organized job site.
  • Assist in setting up and dismantling temporary containment areas as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with the site supervisor and team members.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Previous experience in demolition, construction, or general labour is an asset but not required.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Knowledge of demolition tools and techniques is an asset.
  • Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work in a team environment.
  • Willingness to work in varying conditions, including dust, noise, and confined spaces.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are an asset.
  • Ability to follow instructions and maintain a strong focus on safety.
