Overview
The Demand Planning Manager contributes to the success of Pepsi Beverages Company by executing the demand planning process within a division. This person supports all facets of the forecasting process in order to achieve high forecast accuracy and ensure the highest level of customer service is maintained. This person also supports sales and marketing teams to ensure forecasts and communication in regards to innovation launches is timely and accurate

Responsibilities
- Lead Demand Planning team to success in meeting key metrics including Forecast Accuracy, Bias, Fill Rate and Waste.
- Support Business Unit S&OE and S&OP processes by driving alignment throughout the organization.
- Manages Demand Planner and ensures coverage during planner vacation and provides support/feedback in regards to daily DP tasks and processes
- Supports BU Marketing, Sales, Warehouse, Supply Chain and Manufacturing teams with innovation forecasting.
- Ensures all standard weekly DP tasks are being completed and AOP standards met by all demand planners
- Determines key drivers of forecast error and helps implement action plans for improvement
- Participates in (or executes) projects that drive improvements in Forecast Accuracy, and/or reduces OOS.
- Responsible for overall data maintenance for systems associated with Demand Planning within their respective BU
- Responsible for training Demand Planners on new tools, processes and systems as required by changes in the national PBC Demand Planning process
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree minimum, advanced degree preferred in Supply Chain, Engineering, Sciences, Economics, or Business
- Minimum of 5 years of working experience in Operations or Supply Chain, including previous Demand Planning role
- Strong People leadership skills to onboard, develop, and help manage the careers of planners.
- Experience managing projects and people
- Strong Demand Planning system knowledge of SAP IBP, JDA or equivalent planning system
- S&OE and S&OP experience an asset
- APICS certification an asset
- Strong interpersonal & influence skills in cross-functional settings
- Experience with business processes, planning methodologies and plant operations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good verbal and written skills.
- Able to analyze data, models, and results. Should possess advanced computer skills. Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills. Power BI and SAP knowledge
