What you’ll do
  1. Lead the creation of an annual statistically trended base forecast for the organization.
  2. Develop monthly/weekly forecasts for specific product(s)/customer(s)/channel(s) as assigned, acting as a working manager.
  3. Partner with Marketing, Sales, and Project Managers to generate new product initiative forecasts and ensure product availability for launches.
  4. Lead the generation of demand side inputs for the annual planning process.
  5. Own the demand alignment process, working with Sales and Marketing, and present the S&OP forecast in the Demand meeting, including key assumptions, risks, and opportunities.
  6. Collaborate with BU Supply planning to translate forecasts into actionable supply chain plans that optimize inventory and customer service.
  7. Analyze key business drivers and drive improvements in the forecasting process.
  8. Work with Sales and Category Management to understand the relationship between trade spending and volume.
  9. Manage root cause analysis and lead plans to improve forecast accuracy.
  10. Ensure best practices in monthly S&OP and weekly demand planning and drive continuous process improvements.
  11. Build and maintain strong relationships across teams to enhance business performance.
  12. Participate in implementing new processes and practices for demand planning.
