Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Demand Planning Analyst (3-5 Years)

Responsibilities

  • Use statistical forecasting models to predict future sales and inventory needs.
  • Develop and execute inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs.
  • Collaborate with supply chain, sales, marketing, and finance teams to achieve optimal demand forecast accuracy.
  • Monitor SKU levels and provide input on the development and realization of inventory plans.
  • Prepare and maintain relevant reports pertaining to demand planning process.

What You’ll Do:

  • Use statistical forecasting models to predict future sales and inventory needs
  • Develop and execute inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs
  • Collaborate with supply chain, sales, marketing, and finance teams to achieve optimal demand forecast accuracy
  • Present, solicit, and assess feedback on the various forecasts from sales, marketing, and finance
  • Ensure timely and accurate entry of demand forecasts into the company’s planning system
  • Monitor SKU levels and provide input on the development and realization of inventory plans
  • Prepare and maintain relevant reports pertaining to demand planning process
  • Collaborate with Supply Planning Team on long term capacity analysis and planning

What You Need To Get The Job Done:

  • Proven experience as a Demand Planning Analyst (3-5 Years)
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • BSc/BA in Business, Logistics or relevant field
  • APICS certification is a plus
