Are you up for the opportunity of a lifetime? If so, we are seeking a Demand Planner who is responsible for supporting the demand review process as part of the overall Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process. The role is the integration point between the sales, supply chain, and production planning teams. This position may be based in either Montreal or Toronto.

Key Accountabilities :

  • Own Item Level Forecast : Take ownership of generating accurate item-level forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and input from stakeholders.
  • Analyze Forecast Accuracy : Utilize Power BI to analyze forecast accuracy and identify areas for improvement. Make informed decisions based on forecast analysis to optimize inventory levels and meet customer demand.
  • Present Forecast to Branch Leadership : Prepare and present forecasts to branch leadership, gaining approval and alignment for strategic decision-making.
  • Run Continuous Improvement Activities : Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance forecasting processes, increase efficiency, and minimize errors. Proactively identify opportunities for process optimization and implement best practices.
  • Utilize Planning Tools : Utilize our advanced planning tools, Logility, to manage forecasts effectively, streamline processes, and improve forecast accuracy.
  • Collaborate with Multiple Stakeholders : Work closely with cross-functional teams including operations, sales, and supply chain to gather relevant data, understand market dynamics, and align on demand forecasts. Foster strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure a collaborative and integrated approach to demand planning.
  • Fulfill employee portion of the Berlin Values by demonstrating a strong work ethic, teamwork, loyalty, innovation, productivity and driving profitable results.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities :

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field required
  • 2+ years of experience in a demand planning or related role
  • Professional certifications in supply chain management or demand planning preferred
  • Strong understanding of supply chain principles and dynamics, with the ability to translate business requirements into effective demand planning strategies.
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis, reporting, and presentation purposes.
  • Experience working with planning tools such as Logility, Blue Yonder, or IBP is highly desirable
  • Proven experience working collaboratively with sales teams and other stakeholders to gather input, communicate forecast changes, and drive consensus
  • Strong systems / process orientation with proven analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with the ability to reason and influence at all levels
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing company needs and deadlines
  • Highly organized and detail oriented, with strong time management and prioritization skills
