Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Demand Planner located in Breslau, ON. The successful candidate will manage customer forecasts, support Order Fulfillment and collaborate with various departments to optimize supply chain processes . This role involves reviewing, preparing, analyzing, and summarizing customer releases to translate customer demand into internal Material Requirements Planning (MRP) requirements, ensuring accurate material planning and production scheduling.

Main Responsibilities:

·Prepare, analyze, and summarize customer releases and translate demand into internal MRP requirement

·Develop effective forecast models based on industry trends and demand patterns

· Serve as liaison between internal stakeholders communicating any significant forecast and Trend changes in a timely basis

·Lead and participates in all implementation planning reviews within the group Scheduling regular forecast review meetings with Account Managers and Scheduling Team

·Analyze and upload timely and accurate forecasts on a classification schedule

·Propose and implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy

·Successfully communicating forecast and inventory estimations to management

·Monitoring and reporting on important changes in sales forecasts, budgets, and business strategies

·Supporting management with risk assessments and mitigation activities

·Interpret data using analytics, research methodologies, and statistical techniques

·Maintain demand planning processes to improve forecast accuracy

·Coordinate with inventory team to monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels

·Responsible to update and/or add new planning parameters for parts being added or updated

·Understand product demand and update forecast within targeted schedule.

·Analyze, schedule and work with purchasing to expedite material according to requirements

·Support Inventory Management objectives for all warehouse locations

·Identify and help eliminate / reduce Excess and Obsolete Inventory

·Other Duties as assigned

Education / Experience:

·Post-Secondary Diploma or Certificate within Supply Chain Management, Finance or a related field

·3-5 years of experience in a supply chain environment (Automotive experience preferred)

·Knowledge of industry best practices, including demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and supplier management.

·Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is a plus.

·Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

·Familiarity with Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, ISO 9001, AS9100 or CPG considered an asset

·Knowledge of EDI and ERP systems considered an asset

· Familiarity with Distribution and Automotive environments considered an asset

Salary Range: $60,000 - $65,000 CAD
