Job summary

Rubicon Organics, based in Delta, Canada, seeks an Inventory Specialist to manage reconciliation, reporting, and data integrity across company facilities and 3PL locations. You will own reconciliation processes, validate transactions, and partner with Finance, Logistics, and Warehouse teams to improve accuracy and efficiency.

The role emphasizes advanced Excel and D365 reporting to identify trends, support audits, and drive inventory performance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in inventory control, reconciliation, or related supply chain experience.
• Experience in manufacturing, CPG, distribution, logistics, or warehouse environments.
• Experience supporting multiple warehouse locations and/or 3PL providers.
• Strong ERP experience, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, Power Query, dashboards, and reconciliation analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze large datasets and develop inventory reports and performance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Perform weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual inventory reconciliations across company-operated and 3PL locations.
• Reconcile inventory balances for Biomass, Packaging Materials, WIP, and Finished Goods (CPG).
• Validate inventory transactions and ensure records reflect physical inventory and activities.
• Investigate variances, identify root causes, and coordinate corrective actions with stakeholders.
• Monitor inventory activities and support audit-ready records and month/quarter/year-end closes.
• Maintain inventory master data and ensure compliance with controls and procedures.
