We are seeking a Delivery Truck Driver with manual driving experience to join our team. This role involves delivering food and related products, ensuring timely and safe delivery, and building strong relationships with customers.

Position Purpose

Food and food service delivery drivers play a critical role in the food supply chain. They ensure products arrive in good condition and on time, serving as the face of our company and fostering lasting customer relationships.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Drive local, national, and over-the-road routes to deliver and unload food products safely and efficiently.
  • Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and co-workers, addressing inquiries promptly.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintain electronic logs, and ensure compliance with transportation laws.
  • Report route changes, delays, or issues to Customer Service.
  • Serve as a representative at customer locations, assist with unloading, and resolve challenges collaboratively.
  • Process credits, payments, and paperwork accurately and timely.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Current Class 1 Drivers License
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • At least 1 year of commercial driving experience
  • Must be 18+ years old and meet provincial licensing requirements
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) for the past 3 years
  • Criminal background check and road test clearance
  • Ability to lift and handle freight weighing between 10-90 pounds using appropriate equipment
