Job summary

7-Eleven is seeking a motivated Full-time Delivery Truck Driver to operate out of our Nanaimo, BC branch. The role requires a valid Class 1, 3, or 5 licence and involves direct store deliveries with customer interaction and route planning.

You will load, deliver, and pick up goods along designated routes, perform vehicle inspections, and maintain strong relationships with customers. The position offers full-time hours, steady pay, and opportunities for growth within the company.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience.
• Valid Class 1, 3 or 5 License.
• Recent and satisfactory driver abstract.
• Safety shoes (steel-toed boots).
• Ability to pass a criminal record check.
• Valid SIN upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Operate automatic trucks with power tailgate/railgate for direct store delivery.
• Load trucks in the warehouse before departure.
• Conduct safe and efficient deliveries and pickups following designated routes.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers on each route.
• Perform pre and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety.
• Assist with product and warehouse security.
• Lift up to 50 lbs.

We are currently seeking a motivated Full-time Delivery Truck Driver who holds a valid Class 1, 3 or 5 licence to operate out of our Nanaimo, BC branch. If you are committed to exceptional customer service, thrive in a team environment, and enjoy working efficiently, we want you on our team.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Operating automatic trucks with power tailgate/railgate for direct store delivery.
• Loading trucks in the warehouse before departure.
• Conducting safe and efficient deliveries and pickups following designated routes.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers on each route to understand and address their needs.
• Performing pre and post-trip inspections to ensure the safety and functionality of company-owned vehicles.
• Assisting with product and warehouse security.
• Physically fit and able to handle heavy lifting (up to 50lbs).

Available Shift(s)

Full-Time: 40 hours per week, starting at 7:00 am.

4 Shifts x 10 Hours

Requirements

• Valid Class 1, 3 or 5 License.
• Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience required.
• Recent and satisfactory driver abstract.
• Safety shoes (steel-toed boots).
• Ability to pass a criminal record check.
• Valid proof of SIN upon hire.
• Familiarity with Vancouver Island is an asset, given the local delivery focus.

Pay: $16.00 -$27.50 Hourly
