The role will provide supervisory coverage of the delivery team, including drivers, delivery assistants, and dispatch. The role will primarily be focused on all aspects of the delivery operation as they take place later in the afternoon.


As a Delivery Supervisor you will:
  • Provide end-of-day presence and supervisory coverage of teams returning to the warehouse. Compliance management
  • Assist in the management of the relationship between the multi-family component of the business, and the delivery department
  • Oversee afternoon progress optimization management
  • Monitor the “Delivery Supervisor” inbox and responding in a professional and timely manner
  • Assist in the management of the discretionary bonus program
  • Lead Performance Management of 60+ team members
  • Provide light human resources management within the department
  • Address customer and departmental concerns professionally and effectively.
  • Monitor and positively influence KPIs
  • Manage the daily asset allocation component of the department
  • Support with successful implementation of GRTW employees, and their cooperation with the program
  • Develop and execute thoughtful and efficient solutions to business problems within the organization
To be successful in this role, you should:
  • Have an experience in a logistics environment.
  • Have an experience managing hourly staff.
  • Be comfortable with the performance management of hourly staff.
  • Drive for change management within the business.
  • Have an excellent communication skills, both email and on the phone.
  • Have demonstrated customer service experience
  • Be proficient computer skills.
  • Be strong in Microsoft office skills, namely Excel and PowerPoint
  • Have critical data analysis skills
  • Have a class 5 drivers license or working towards with clean abstract.

Additional Information
  • Shift work (split week): Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri, Sat (Saturday is mandatory, other days off can be negotiated)
  • 10:00am – 6:30pm
