A leading food service provider is seeking a Class 1 Driver in Saskatoon. Responsibilities include delivering food products while maintaining customer relationships and performing inspections. A valid driver's license and strong work ethic are required. The role offers a starting rate of $29.00 per hour and various benefits including medical, dental, and retirement programs.

The Delivery Service Rep. will be responsible for covering delivery shifts out of Saskatoon.

Duties & Responsibilities
Providing exceptional service to build and maintain quality customer relationship
Manually sorting and unloading food products and hand-wheeling them into the customer locations with the use of ramps and occasionally stairs (approx. 600 – 1000 cases / shift)
Operating straight trucks or trailers safely and professionally to transport goods and materials over urban, short inter-urban and rural routes
Conducting routine pre / post-trip truck inspections and maintaining accurate records of delivery routes, temperature logs, count sheets and incident reporting
Performing product delivery verification at the customer location and maintaining customer invoices
Following health and safety and safe work procedures
Required Skills & Qualifications
Valid Class 1 driver’s license and a clean driver’s abstract.
Eligibility for bonding and transportation of dangerous goods (TDG) certification.
Previous professional driving experience is preferred
Ability to work in a variety of weather, temperature and road conditions
Strong mechanical aptitude
A high-level of integrity and a strong work ethic, able to work with little supervision and be self directed.
Physically fit and able to repeatedly lift, stack, pull and carry heavy items (up to 60 lbs)
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Availability for weekends.
