Capital Market IT (CMI) Overview

Capital Market IT (CMI) manages information systems for the Global Markets Division (GMD) and related support functions, covering all capital markets domains from pre-trade to post-trade, including risk management and regulatory reporting. CMI oversees IT activities, providing applicative support to end-users, maintaining, and evolving information systems through innovative transformation programs to support business growth and strengthen top-tier business franchises. The global CMI teams are distributed across Paris, London, Hong Kong, Singapore, and New York.

Expansion in North America

In line with GMD's ambitions, CMI aims to expand its presence in North America by consolidating and strengthening its workforce, particularly in Fixed Income e-trading, pricing, and booking activities (Rates, Bonds, Repos). This expansion includes building and operating activities, fostering autonomy, and leveraging global systems, with a target of over 30 staff members by 2026.

Position: IT Head of Flow Products Domain - Montreal, Canada

CMI is hiring a local IT Head of Flow Products Domain in Montreal, responsible for establishing a resilient and sustainable setup aligned with CMI's global sourcing strategy and GMD's new objectives. This role will be a permanent member of the CMI Montreal leadership team.

Reporting to: Head of CMI Montreal

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and lead local resources for the Flow Product Domain, ensuring alignment with sourcing strategies, business needs, and skills development.
• Establish the appropriate leadership structure to develop the Flow Product Domain and achieve CMI sourcing goals.
• Build and adjust sourcing capacity considering business and IT constraints.
• Ensure proper onboarding of contractors in collaboration with Procurement.
• Develop talent and support team members in their roles.
• Foster an environment of trust, transparency, open communication, and innovation.

• Promote agility, product ownership, and close collaboration with the business.
• Encourage a culture of continuous improvement through practices like Agile, Software Craftsmanship, and DevSecOps.
• Support technology watch initiatives and sharing of best practices.
