Job summary

DotCollective is seeking a Delivery Lead to act as the operational backbone of a Dedicated Squad. You will manage day-to-day delivery, coordinate with clients, oversee QA, and ensure on-time deployment while maintaining clear communication and strong stakeholder trust.

You will focus on the how and when, driving structure and predictability across tickets, sprints, and releases in a hybrid/remote-friendly environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day delivery workflow across support, projects, and sprints.

At DotCollective, our Delivery Leads keep the engine running, ensuring clarity, coordination, and consistency across every sprint, support pack, and project.

In this Dedicated Squad setup, you'll work alongside a Delivery Manager (Dedicated), supporting several of our largest merchants. Together, you'll manage day-to-day delivery, client coordination, QA, and squad operations, ensuring your merchants experience DotCollective's hallmark delivery confidence at scale.

You'll be the operational backbone of the squad, detail-obsessed, process-driven, and proactive.

Where the Delivery Manager drives the why and what, you'll focus on the how and when, ensuring every ticket, sprint, and deployment runs seamlessly.

Core Responsibilities

Delivery Operations

• Manage day-to-day delivery workflow across support, projects, and sprints.
• Maintain accurate boards, priorities, and timelines within Productive.
• Coordinate daily stand-ups, weekly WIPs, and sprint planning sessions with the squad and client.
• Track all tasks through to QA and deployment, ensuring nothing slips through the cracks.
• Flag risks early, proactively recommend solutions, and ensure every sprint stays on track.

Client Coordination & Support

• Serve as the day-to-day contact for clients on delivery items, scheduling, QA updates, and smaller task queries.
• Support the Delivery Manager in managing timelines, budgets, and client comms.
• Keep clients informed with status reports, testing notes, and clear expectations.
• Coordinate feedback rounds, testing phases, and post-launch actions.
• Help ensure a smooth client experience that builds trust and confidence.

QA, Testing & Launch Readiness

• Oversee QA for all deliverables before deployment, across all channels.
• Ensure tasks meet acceptance criteria, design integrity, and Shopify best practices.
• Manage bug tracking, internal UAT coordination, and final deployment checklists.
• Support the Technical Lead and developers with test cases and feedback loops.

Budget & Time Management

• Monitor task estimates and actuals within Productive.
• Review weekly time entries for accuracy and profitability.
• Support the Delivery Manager with budget reports, prepaid usage, and monthly invoicing readiness.
• Highlight any risks to profitability or resourcing early.

Squad Collaboration & Culture

• Act as the operational right hand to your Delivery Manager, bringing structure, detail, and calm.
• Ensure developers and technical leads are clear on priorities and deadlines.
• Support team check-ins, retros, and culture initiatives.
• Uphold DotCollective's "no surprises" culture, communicate early, often, and clearly.

What Success Looks Like

• All delivery boards are accurate, current, and visible at all times.
• Clients receive proactive updates, never chasing for information.
• QA processes run smoothly, with minimal issues post-launch.
• The squad runs predictably and profitably.
• The Delivery Manager and team trust you as their operational anchor.

What You'll Bring

• Experience in delivery coordination, project support, or account operations within a digital or Shopify agency.
• A solid understanding of eCommerce and the Shopify ecosystem.
• Experience managing tickets, QA, and sprint workflows across Productive.
• Strong communication skills, able to liaise confidently with clients and technical teams.
• Impeccable organisation and attention to detail, the person everyone trusts to "keep things moving."
• A growth mindset and eager to develop toward a future Delivery Manager role.
