Our client is an international banking and financial institution with divisions located in the Americas, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. They are establishing their first Canadian office and are expecting exponential growth.

As a Delivery Leader of the Core Platforms team, you will be part of the Non Linear Rates IT Division within Capital Market IT (CMI) and report to CMI's Montreal local manager.

This team in Montreal supports the delivery of the Non Linear Rates IT Division in collaboration with the teams in Paris. This covers five key areas: Orchestrade Core, Pricing Services Core, Structuring, BI & Analytics, and SCMR Dashboard.

In collaboration with the Delivery Leaders in Paris, you will apply the priorities defined for each Delivery by the dedicated Product Owner. The team will work closely with end-users, GIT IT teams, and external vendors. The Core Platforms Delivery Team will be responsible for building solutions that meet user needs, including specifying, developing, testing, and supporting these changes.

Key Responsibilities :
  • Create a trusting environment that encourages open communication, innovation, and the right to make mistakes, to strengthen team cohesion.
  • Establish a framework that promotes autonomy, creativity, risk-taking, and continuous improvement.

Ensure the development of quality solutions and proactive monitoring of their implementation :

  • Guarantee high-quality production by ensuring compliance with best practices (impact analysis, test coverage, user validation, etc.).
  • Maintain and develop best practices, performance levels, and knowledge transfer within the team and community.
  • Provide adequate, proactive, and transparent reporting to management.
  • Drive proactive management of technical debt, proposing remedial actions and continuous improvements.

Steer team delivery in line with technical quality and optimization values :

  • Manage delivery on the Montreal platform for the Non Linear Rates division.
  • Promote continuous improvement of our software factories based on agility, Software Craftsmanship, and SecDevOps principles.
  • Foster a culture of technological intelligence to stay updated on the latest IT trends (Learning Organization).
  • Organize and support team communication and collaboration.
Qualifications :
