About The Team

The Membership function is dedicated to leading the Director community driving the strategic vision for membership growth and engagement. The Membership team is responsible for developing and executing the membership strategy ensuring a compelling value proposition that positions the AICD for sustained growth. This includes integrating the thought leadership and influence of International Sector Leads and Board Diversity into the broader membership experience.

The Membership team is focused on maintaining high levels of member engagement by offering valuable and relevant products programs and events that align with members needs.

The Events and Sponsorship team are responsible for ensuring the world-class delivery and reputation of the AICDs events program whilst ensuring consistent and high-quality interactions with members and key stakeholders - including developing key sponsors that align with AICDs strategic objectives.

Our Digital function is responsible for executing and operationalising the Membership strategy. Our goal is to provide an unrivalled customer and staff experience while providing new value producing opportunities.

About the role

The Delivery Lead will steer the delivery of key digital products that will enhance the experience of AICD members and clients. This role is central to managing delivery execution ensuring alignment to business goals and fostering a dedicated Agile squad.

As Delivery Lead you will oversee day-to-day planning and execution work closely with the Senior Product Owner to translate the product vision into a clear roadmap and drive delivery momentum by managing risks budgets dependencies and team dynamics.

Your remit will be broad and include :

Key responsibilities

  • Lead execution of the product delivery plan from roadmap to release ensuring business and user goals are met.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Product Owner to build maintain and prioritise the product roadmap and delivery backlog.
  • Work closely with the squad to align on sprint goals refine scope and ensure continuous progress across 23 sprints.
  • Track and monitor delivery status manage reporting and keep stakeholders informed through clear communication and updates.
  • Engage with stakeholders to understand requirements manage expectations and ensure alignment throughout delivery.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies (standups planning reviews retrospectives) to drive transparency accountability and team alignment.
  • Unblock risks and raise issues early working across teams to manage dependencies and resolve impediments.
  • Track budgets timelines and progress ensuring efficient use of resources and transparent reporting to leadership.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement Agile maturity and collaboration within the team and across the organisation.

Skills And Experiences

About you

You will have strong technical aptitude and previous relevant experience and you will champion the AICD values of : Accountability Respect Excellence and Collaboration . In addition you will also have the following :

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science Business or related field; Agile certification highly regarded.
  • 4 years experience in Agile delivery leadership roles in complex cross-functional environments.
  • Proven ability to manage product delivery plans roadmaps and execution with a strong focus on stakeholder engagement.
  • Practical experience applying Agile frameworks (Scrum Kanban Lean SAFe etc.) to deliver high-quality digital products.
  • Highly developed time management prioritisation and organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Confident communicator and facilitator with excellent stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Agile delivery tools (e.g. Jira Confluence) and delivery reporting.
  • Proactive and responsive work style with an ability to collaborate cross functionally.
  • Accountable and solution-oriented focus and able to adapt to overcome challenges.
