This role requires loading, transporting, and unloading materials, while adhering to safety protocols. They offer a full-time position with flexible hours to accommodate overtime.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of applicable experience in mechanical piping and structural industry.
• Must have a valid class 5 Driver’s License, with a clean driving record.
• CSTS 2020 & WHMIS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Haul loaded trailers to various locations adhering to road laws.
• Load, unload, and move products using basic material handling equipment.
• Drive trucks from ½ ton to 5 ton including gooseneck trailers.

Position Summary

Located at our Fort Saskatchewan Shop, the successful candidate will report to the Materials Coordinator. Applicants require 7+ years of experience in the mechanical piping and structural industry. The successful candidate will be required to haul loaded trailers to various locations as required, adhering to all Provincial Road Laws and ONEX River Safety protocol.

Other responsibilities include:

• Loading, unloading, and moving products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment.
• Driving trucks from ½ ton to 5 ton including gooseneck trailers.
• Experience with strapping down loads/rigging.
• Transporting materials such as pipe, equipment, sea cans, large & small boxes, etc.
• Other shop duties as required.

Our Ideal Candidate

• Grade 12 High School Diploma.
• 7+ years of applicable experience.
• Must have a valid class 5 Driver’s License, with a clean driving record.
• 5-year clean abstract must be provided.
• Candidate must be 25yrs or older due to insurance purposes.
• Must have experience in hauling & loading trailers.
• Forklift & Zoom Boom certification and experience is required.
• Mechanically inclined is as asset.
• CSTS 2020 & WHMIS required.
• Must be capable of physical labour and punctual.
• D&A testing could be mandatory.
