Job Description

Job Summary

This position assists UPS Package Drivers with deliveries and pickups of UPS packages at UPS drop boxes and customer locations along a specified route. This position performs physical, fast-paced environment involving continual lifting, lowering and carrying packages. This position ensures the best customer service through efficiency and dedication.

Responsibilities

Delivers and picks up UPS packages efficiently and effectively.

Learns and properly executes UPS package handling methods.

Qualifications

Able to deliver and pick-up packages by means of walking (on-foot) and to work outside in all weather conditions.
Able to occasionally lift 70-lbs unassisted
Able to operate an electronic scanning equipment
Must be able to meet with UPS Drivers in assigned meet points everyday
Delivery Area: Delta/ New Westminster/Burnaby Areas
Shifts: Monday to Friday starting at 11AM* (shift times may vary) and 4 - 5 hours per shift (shift hours will vary)
Employment: Part Time Seasonal Position (with various opportunities for permanent employment).
