Job Description:

POSITION SUMMARY

UPS is seeking individuals who enjoy working in a physical, fast-paced, outdoor environment involving package delivery in residential areas. Candidates must have excellent customer contact and driving skills.

Applicants must possess a valid Class 5 driver’s license or higher issued in Quebec. Drivers are expected to adhere to UPS appearance guidelines. Knowledge of the local area and the ability to read maps are assets, especially as new drivers may cover multiple residential zones.

COMPENSATION

• Starting hourly rate: $17.00/h + bonus $5.50/h
• Maximum rate: $32.99/h (probation + 48-month progression)
• Paid weekly via direct deposit

SCHEDULE

• Start time between 9 AM and Noon, Monday to Friday
• Approximately 40 to 45 hours per week
• Work hours depend on volume and are not guaranteed

REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs (35 kg) without assistance and 150 lbs (68 kg) with assistance
• Ability to read maps and navigate effectively
• Minimum age of 21 years (for insurance purposes)
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license
• Clean Driver’s Abstract: no at-fault accidents in the last 3 years, no traffic violations in the last 12 months
• Bilingual proficiency
