Job description

We're Royal Distributing, and we’ve been a leader in the Canadian powersports industry for the past 30 years. We provide our customers with quality products and top service to keep them riding their snowmobiles, ATVs, motorcycles, dirt bikes, and more. We’re embarking on the next phase of our growth and we want you to join us!

The Opportunity

We’re in search of a Driver to join our growing team within our Distribution Center. In this role, you will complete a daily delivery of product by driving our straight truck from our Distribution Center to our Whitby, Innisfil and Guelph Retail Store locations. Other duties would include assisting in different areas of the warehouse during peak periods, such as picking or packing orders, and completing any ad hoc general labour items that arise.

Responsibilities

- Deliver product to retaill locations from our Distribution Center with a straight truck
- Assist with loading and unloading of product onto the delivery truck
- Pick-up and distribute mail and packages traveling between buildings
- Assist with other general warehouse duties
- Adhere to company safety policies and safety compliance regulations

Qualifications

- Previous driving experience with a straight truck or similar vehicle is preferred
- Motivated, have a strong work ethic and can work autonomously
- Team player with respect for co-workers
- Excellent verbal communication and listening skills
- Willingness to be adaptable and assist with different tasks as required

Additional Information

- This schedule for this position is 3 days a week, the days of week can vary depending on volume and operates from 9:30am until route completion (typically 3:30pm, could go until 5:00pm)
- This position works in a warehouse setting and the temperature is variable depending on seasonal conditions. Lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling of product weighing 50 lbs, along with spending prolonged periods on your feet, is required
- Steel toe, green patch work boots are required.
