Qualifications

• Expérience dans la conduite de camions frigorifiques de 5 tonnes.

Responsibilities

• Livraison de produits entre l'entrepôt et les emplacements des magasins.
• Inspection pré et post-trajet du véhicule.
• Chargement et déchargement de marchandises.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

We're looking for a Part Time Regular schedule Delivery Driver to join our team.

You will be a match for this role if you enjoyworking with a small team in the warehouse, fantastic store team members and love being on the road delivering exceptional product to our locations in the Okanagan. You will be joining a team of drivers who share the weekly schedule of deliveries. You'll need to be available two days per week - most likely Tuesday & Thursday on the schedule below:

Tuesdays 5am - 1:30pm (with extended shifts during the summer due to local produce pick ups)

There may also be opportunity to cover some Saturday shifts and vacation coverage

You are right for the job if you have good communication skills, detail-orientated and enjoy being a part of a collaborative team that gets things done.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

Delivery Driving:

• Delivery of orders between our warehouse and store locations in a safe and timely manner.
• Delivering product from our warehouse to our locations using Natures Fare Market’s 5 ton reefer cube van. The driving route includes Vernon, Kelowna, West Kelowna, Penticton and Kamloops with home base being Vernon.
• Delivery day shifts start at 4:00am
• Delivery day isTuesday
• Product delivery via 5ton refrigerated cube van (class 5 license required)
• Loading and unloading pallets of goods (forklift and pallet jack usage is required)
• Pre and post trip vehicle inspections
• Cleanliness of the interior and exterior of the delivery truck

WHAT YOU BRING:

• Must provide a current, BC class 5 abstract & driver's license
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
• Forklift experience,licensed preferred or ability to obtain
• Experience driving a 5-ton reefer cube truck and working in a warehouse setting
