Job summary

Tofino Ucluelet Culinary Guild in British Columbia is hiring a part-time warehouse and delivery assistant. Based out of our Tofino warehouse, you will help organize orders, pack boxes for commercial accounts and individuals, and assist with shipping and receiving.

This role runs 3 days a week with 8-hour shifts on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, totaling 20–30 hours. The ideal candidate is physically fit, has a BC driver’s license, can lift up to 50 pounds, and communicates clearly with

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and move heavy boxes up to 50 pounds.
• Valid BC driver's license in good standing and able to drive delivery vans.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
• Willing to learn and work hard; experience in delivery, packing, or shipping is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with our weekly farm direct food distribution including organizing, packing boxes for commercial accounts and individual households
• Assist with shipping and receiving and keeping our warehouse organized
• Deliver produce, meat, and specialty good orders to restaurants, resorts, businesses, grocery stores
• Liaise with our customers during deliveries and customer pick ups

What you need to know:

• Based out of our Tofino warehouse on Industrial Way
• 20-30 hours a week
• 8 hour shifts Wednesday (11-7), Thursday (11-7) and Friday (9-5)
• $22-$24, based on experience
• Staff lunch provided

Who We Are Looking For:

• Consistent physical ability to lift and move heavy boxes and can lift up to 50 pounds regularly - Please advise us if you have any reoccurring injuries and how youhave overcome the injuries in the past
• Must have a. BC driver’s license in good standing and be able to drive our delivery vans
• This role requires great communication, problem solving, and customer service skills Customer
• Willing to learn and work hard
• Past experience in any of these areas would be an asset: delivery driver, customer service, picking and packing, shipping and receiving
