Job summary

Lordco Auto Parts in Qualicum, BC is seeking a Delivery Driver to join our team. This full-time, entry-level role offers a company vehicle and opportunities to grow with a family-owned distributor of automotive parts.

You will deliver parts, coordinate between store and customers, manage inventory and logs, verify invoices, and handle payments as needed. The ideal candidate has a valid license, strong customer service, and solid time-management skills.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license is required with a clean abstract preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong time management and organization abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to lift items up to 50 lbs and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Deliver automotive parts and accessories to customers using a company vehicle in a safe and timely manner.
• Coordinate deliveries from the store to the customer and communicate order status for seamless service.
• Receive and maintain inventory as well as daily vehicle logs.
• Review part numbers on invoices and verify against products to ensure accuracy.
• Ensure accurate record-keeping and prevent errors or discrepancies.
• Collect POS and cash payments as necessary.

What you’ll do:

• Deliver automotive parts and accessories to customers using a company vehicle in a safe and timely manner
• Coordinate deliveries from the store to the customer and communicate with customers regarding order status, ensuring seamless customer service
• Receive and maintain inventory as well as daily vehicle logs
• Review the part numbers listed on the invoices and compare them with the actual product numbers to ensure that they match
• Ensure accurate record-keeping and prevent any errors or discrepancies
• Collect POS and cash payments as necessary

Do you fit thepart?

• Valid Class 7 or 5 License is required with a clean driver’s abstract preferred
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively in person and over the phone
• Strong attention to detail and highly organized with good time management and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities
• Ability to lift items up to 50lbs and knowledge of workplace safety procedures and the ability to adhere to the Lordco Occupational Health and Safety program
