Lordco Auto Parts in Penticton, BC, is hiring a Delivery Driver. This full-time role requires delivering automotive parts to customers, coordinating deliveries, and maintaining accurate records. You will work with a company vehicle, manage inventory, and handle payments where needed.

Starting wage is $18.25+ per hour. Applicants should possess a valid driver's license with a clean abstract and provide excellent customer service, strong communication, and good time management in a team

Qualifications

• Valid Class 7 or 5 License with a clean driving abstract preferred.
• Excellent customer service and effective communication in person and over the phone.
• Strong time management, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift items up to 50 lbs and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Deliver automotive parts and accessories to customers using a company vehicle in a safe, timely manner.
• Coordinate store-to-customer deliveries and keep customers informed on order status.
• Receive and maintain inventory and daily vehicle logs.
• Verify part numbers on invoices against products to prevent discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate records and handle POS/cash payments as needed.

What you’ll do:

• Deliver automotive parts and accessories to customers using a company vehicle in a safe and timely manner
• Coordinate deliveries from the store to the customer and communicate with customers regarding order status, ensuring seamless customer service
• Receive and maintain inventory as well as daily vehicle logs
• Review the part numbers listed on the invoices and compare them with the actual product numbers to ensure that they match
• Ensure accurate record-keeping and prevent any errors or discrepancies
• Collect POS and cash payments as necessary

Do you fit thepart?

• Valid Class 7 or 5 License is required with a clean driver’s abstract preferred
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively in person and over the phone
• Strong attention to detail and highly organized with good time management and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities
• Ability to lift items up to 50lbs and knowledge of workplace safety procedures and the ability to adhere to the Lordco Occupational Health and Safety program
