Job summary

Unimax is seeking a delivery driver to transport tires and merchandise from the warehouse to various customers across Canada. The role requires load handling, vehicle inspections, and ensuring timely and accurate deliveries to our retail and distribution network.

We offer a Monday–Friday schedule, a competitive hourly wage with a peak-season bonus, and a supportive team environment focused on collaboration and safety. A valid G Class license and one year of driving experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid G Class license.
• Minimum 1 year experience as a driver.
• Be in good physical shape and able to lift heavy loads.
• Have a clean driving record and good knowledge of the region.

Responsibilities

• Deliver tires and merchandise from the warehouse.
• Complete a daily truck inspection report before departure.
• Ensure the vehicle is clean and well maintained.
• Load and unload tires and merchandise for delivery to customers.
• Unload tires manually at customer locations.
• Inspect tires and merchandise with the customer.
• Respect delivery order to optimize the route.
• Handle delivery work orders and pickup tires at customer locations.
• Assist with related warehouse tasks (loading/unloading trucks, maintenance).

Salary : starting from 20,75$/hour + PEAK SEASON BONUS 2$ (October 19th to December 11th)

Job Description

• Deliver tires and merchandise from the warehouse;
• Complete a daily inspection report of the truck before departure;
• Ensure the cleanliness of the vehicle;
• Load and unload the tires and merchandise to be delivered to the different customers;
• Unload tires manually at customers locations;
• Inspect the tires and merchandise with the customer;
• Respect the order of deliveries to optimize the route of the day;
• Handle all delivery work orders;
• Pick up tires at different customer locations;
• Assist with other related warehouse work (loading and unloading trucks and maintenance tasks).

Qualifications

• Posses a valid G Class license;
• Possess a minimum of 1 year experience as a driver;
• Be in excellent physical shape and be able to lift heavy loads;
• Have a good driving record;
• A very good knowledge of the region;
• Previous experience driving a cube van (asset).
