Norstar Industries Ltd. is seeking a dependable Delivery Driver to join our Logistics Team. You will operate a company truck and trailer, deliver products to customers and ensure loads are secured and delivered safely.

The role includes customer-facing duties, accurate paperwork, and adherence to safety procedures. This is a full-time seasonal position with potential for hours adjustment based on demand.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 3 or Class 1 driver’s license with air brake endorsement is required.
• Current driver’s abstract dated within the last 30 days will be requested.
• DOT requirements knowledge (Hours of Service, vehicle inspections) is expected.

Responsibilities

• Operate company truck and trailer to deliver products safely and efficiently.
• Load, secure, and inspect loads for transport.
• Deliver to customers within approximately a 500-mile radius of Norstar.
• Provide professional, courteous customer service at each delivery.
• Obtain Proof of Delivery and return paperwork.

Full-Time Seasonal | Logistics Team | $22-$31 per hour, based on experience

Norstar Industries Ltd. is a family-owned manufacturer of grain handling equipment and material handling solutions serving customers across Canada and internationally. We take pride in delivering quality products and providing the same level of service to our customers.

We're looking for a dependable and safety-focused Delivery Driver to join our Logistics Team. As a Delivery Driver, you'll be responsible for safely transporting Norstar products to customers while providing a professional and positive customer experience.

You become the face of the company when you're on the road and at our customers' locations.

This position is full-time during the busy season, with the possibility of reduced hours when delivery demand is lower.

Schedule

Full-Time: Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and Friday, 7:00 AM to Noon, for approximately 40 hours per week.

Part-Time option: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to Noon, when delivery needs require reduced hours.

What You'll Do

• Operate a company-provided truck and trailer to deliver products safely and efficiently
• Load and properly secure products for transportation
• Deliver products to customers within approximately a 500-mile radius of Norstar
• Provide professional and courteous customer service at each delivery
• Ensure deliveries are completed without damage or claims
• Obtain properly signed Proof of Delivery documentation and return paperwork to the appropriate department
• Keep the company truck and trailer clean and presentable
• Complete regular vehicle and equipment inspections
• Report equipment issues promptly so repairs can be addressed
• Follow all Norstar safety policies and quality standards
• Work closely with the Logistics Manager and other team members
• Travel to the United States occasionally as required
• Work overtime when required

What We're Looking For

• Valid Class 3 or Class 1 driver's license with air brake endorsement
• Ability to provide a clear driver's abstract
• Previous load securement experience is an asset
• Knowledge of applicable DOT requirements, including Hours of Service and vehicle inspections
• Ability to travel to the United States occasionally
• Ability to read and understand directions, bills of lading, and packing lists
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Dependable, organized, and safety-focused
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to follow instructions and company procedures
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Driver's Abstract Requirement

Candidates selected for an interview will be required to provide a current driver's abstract dated within the previous 30 days.

• Consistently following safety requirements and applicable driving regulations
• Representing Norstar positively at every customer interaction

Compensation & Benefits
