Source Office Furniture & Systems Ltd. seeks a Delivery Driver in Edmonton, AB. The role involves delivering assembled and non-assembled office furniture to various locations, loading and unloading, and following routes and schedules.

You will represent the company professionally and ensure safety and accuracy in every delivery. Requirements include 3 years of driving a large truck (3-5 ton) with manual/automatic transmissions, a valid driver’s license, and legal eligibility to work in Canada.

Qualifications

• 3 years experience driving a large truck (3 or 5-ton) in traffic and on busy streets, with both manual and automatic transmissions.
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean Driver’s Abstract.
• Legally authorized to work in Canada.
• Good aptitude in handling manual and power hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Deliver assembled and non-assembled office furniture within a designated area with a colleague.
• Load, unload, inspect, and operate a 3- or 5-ton truck.
• Follow routes, schedules, and DOT regulations; complete daily inspection logs.

This is a full-time position.About The RoleThe Delivery Driver is responsible for ensuring excellent customer service is provided as orders are promptly and safely delivered to various locations throughout designated area. You will represent our company in a professional and cost-effective manner to increase our profitability and customer satisfaction.We Provide· Fun and positive work environment· Opportunity for professional growth· Competitive wage: $24/hr· 100% paid health and dental benefits plan after a successful 3-month probation, including a $250 Health Spending Account· Employee Assistance Program (EAP)· Employee discounts on our productsWhat You’ll Do· Deliver a variety of assembled and non-assembled office furniture to various locations within a designated area, with a colleague· Deliveries will consist of dock to dock, residential, business and stair carry when needed· Follow routes and a time schedule· Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate a 3 or a 5-ton truck· Complete daily inspection logs and reports· Follow DOT regulations and safety standards· Collect payments· Assemble chairs prior to delivery when needed· Occasionally required to assist in the warehouse as neededWhat You Bring· 3 years experience driving a large truck (3 or 5-ton) in traffic and on busy streets, with both manual and automatic transmissions· Clean, professional appearance and exceptional customer service skills· Ability to consistently carry 75lbs unassisted and willing to do stair carries· Valid Driver’s License with a clean Driver’s Abstract· Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure· Legally authorized to work in Canada· Good aptitude in handling manual and power hand toolsWork Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm, and occasional Saturday shifts as required.Learn more about us at www.source.ca.
