Your role and responsibilities

As a Technical Delivery Consultant, you will work closely with IBM clients and partners to design, deliver, and optimize IBM Technology solutions that align with your clients' goals. You will apply your technical expertise to ensure world-class delivery while leveraging your consultative skills such as problem-solving, issue- / hypothesis-based methodologies, communication, and service orientation skills. As a member of IBM Technology Expert Labs, a team that is client-focused, courageous, pragmatic, and technical, you'll collaborate with clients to optimize and trailblaze new solutions that address real business challenges.

1. Solving Client Challenges Effectively: Understanding clients' main challenges and developing solutions that help them reach true business value by working through the phases of design, development, integration, implementation, migration, and product support with a sense of urgency.
2. Agile Planning and Execution: Creating and executing agile plans responsible for installing and provisioning assets, testing, migrating to production, and day-two operations.
3. Technical Solution Workshops: Conducting and participating in technical solution workshops.

IBM is seeking experienced and dynamic Technical Delivery Consultants to work directly with customer accounts and to customize, extend, and deploy IBM Verify Customer Identity, IBM Verify Workforce Identity, and IBM Verify Identity Privileged Identity software in customer environments.

The role involves delivering projects leveraging experience with IBM Verify Portfolio covering Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM), IBM Verify Access, IBM Verify Governance, IBM Verify SaaS, and IBM Verify Identity Privilege. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Identity Access Management (IAM) leveraging IBM Verify, providing guidance, implementation, and support for IBM clients.

You will have skills in software and system design, including knowledge of web applications, Kubernetes, Docker in Linux and Windows environments, and managing/supporting customized developments and implementations.

You are responsible for deploying integration solutions based on IBM Hybrid Cloud approach and helping clients transform their business by solving complex problems. You will define project scope and vision, serving as a technical leader and liaison among business partners, technical teams, and stakeholders.

Required technical and professional expertise

• In-depth knowledge of Identity and Access Management domain, technologies, and best practices
• Expertise in deploying and managing IBM Verify solutions
• Strong understanding of security protocols, authentication, authorization, and access control mechanisms
• Experience with integration of IBM Verify with various applications and systems
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Development and/or systems engineering experience
• Technical support or consulting client-facing experience, preferably with mission-critical operations
• Technical leadership in architecture, design, and development oversight
• Knowledge of Linux and Windows system administration
• Scripting skills
• Experience developing and deploying code in a high-availability environment
• Hands-on experience with AWS, MS Azure, and/or other cloud platforms
• Experience configuring VMware environments
• Strong knowledge of directory service configuration (LDAP and Active Directory)

Preferred technical and professional experience

• Installation, configuration, and administration of IBM Verify tools
• Experience with IAM security domain
• Knowledge in applying patches and upgrades on IBM Verify
• Expertise in migrating IBM Verify from on-premises to SaaS
• Integrating applications with IBM Verify
• Infrastructure design or solution engineering/architecture skills
• Understanding of Kubernetes and Docker
• Knowledge of secure backups and restore practices
• Experience in creating/supporting statements of work (SOW)
• Assessing engagement activities and resources
