Job summary

Pilot Company is seeking a Deli Shift Leader to supervise team members in the hot deli area, ensuring guests receive excellent service and the deli stays clean, stocked and compliant with food safety standards.

The ideal candidate has experience in food service and can work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays; pay starts between $17.95 and $22.55 per hour, with weekly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar position, especially with a restaurant or foodservice background.
• Incredible customer service skills & the ability to help maintain a customer focused culture
• Ability to maintain equipment according to food safety standards
• Ability to work as part of a team and interact with different levels from hourly team members, customers, vendors, and corporate representatives
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule of nights, days, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Supervise team members in the hot deli area.
• Provide excellent guest service and ensure food in the hot deli is fresh and well stocked.
• Assist the Deli Manager by maintaining cleanliness and organization of the deli area.
• Maintain equipment according to food safety standards and work with others to prioritize safety and quality.

Job Description

Deli Shift Leaders are responsible for supervising team members in the hot deli area. Along with providing excellent guest service, they are to assist the Deli Manager by ensuring that food in the hot deli is fresh and the area is kept clean and well stocked. The ideal candidate for this position will have a basic knowledge of food safety standards and have experience in the food service industry.

Pay Rates Starting between: $17.95 - $22.55 / hour
