Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Thorough knowledge of department operations.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of total store operations.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach deli staff to deliver excellent customer service.
• Manage budgets, labour costs, inventory and merchandising.
• Communicate operational requirements to department employees.
• Ensure OH&S and food safety compliance.
• Direct department to achieve financial targets and margins.
• Coordinate maintenance of department equipment and repairs.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Provide feedback for continuous improvement.
