Job summary

Metro's Deli and Hot Food Department in Huntsville is seeking a part-time team member to help serve customers with a wide range of meats, cheeses and ready-to-eat options. The role is unionized, permanent and based in Stores, with a starting hourly wage of 16.60 CAD.

Ideal candidates will have deli knowledge, strong communication, and the stamina to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. Flexible shifts, including nights and weekends, are required to meet deli demand.

This position is part of a unionized bargaining unit.The hourly wage for this position is starting at 16.60 which is established in accordance with the collective agreement. Depending on a candidate's relevant knowledge, skills, education and prior experience, a higher hourly wage may be offered. Any hourly wage offered for this role, whether it is the starting wage or higher, will be within the wage scale established for this position in accordance with the collective agreement.
