Deli Clerk- Overnight

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Ensuring exceptional customer service is provided in a courteous manner to maintain our reputation for friendly, effective, and personalized experience.
2. Responsible for the preparation, displaying, and maintenance of the Deli department.
3. Build displays under the direction of the department manager.
4. Face, merchandise, re-organize displaced items and product labels to ensure all areas of the department are organized, neat, and attractive.
5. Assist in maintaining a clean, organized selling floor and backroom, adhering to established health and safety regulations as per Company policies.
6. Assist the department manager in the training and direction of part-time staff.
7. Maintain the department in the absence of the department manager.
8. Ensure that the safety and sanitation of the department meet with Company policies and standards.
9. Other general duties, as assigned.

The Ideal Candidate Would Possess:

1. Exceptional customer service skills.
2. Minimum 2-3 years’ deli experience.
3. Flexibility to work overnight shifts including weekends.
4. Excellent product knowledge and knowledge of deli operations.
5. Excellent organization, communication, and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure.
7. Proven ability to handle responsibilities and achieve work objectives.
