Job summary

Super Valu in Gibsons is seeking a friendly Deli Clerk to join our team on a full-time basis. You’ll greet customers, slice meats and cheeses, and help prepare fresh items and daily specials while keeping the deli clean and well-stocked.

We offer weekly pay, competitive wages and benefits, training, and a supportive, team-oriented workplace. Eligibility to work in Canada is required.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, helpful service
• Slice meats and cheeses, and prepare fresh items, party trays, and daily specials
• Keep the deli clean, stocked, and looking great
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards
• Operate deli equipment (slicers, ovens, scales) safely
• Work as part of a team and help where needed
• Be on your feet for most of your shift and lift up to 50 lbs.

We’re a community-focused grocery store in the heart of Gibsons, and we’re looking for a reliable, full-time Deli Clerk to join our deli team.

Schedule

• Full-time hours
• Mid-shifts and closing shifts required
• At least one weekend day required (availability for both preferred)
• Additional weekday shifts based on department needs

What you'll do

• Greet customers and provide friendly, helpful service
• Slice meats and cheeses, and prepare fresh items, party trays, and daily specials
