Job summary

Save-On-Foods is hiring a Deli Clerk for our Prince Albert, SK location. You will provide outstanding customer service, operate the cash register, share product knowledge, and ensure the deli is well stocked and presented. You will also handle fresh products safely and maintain a clean, sanitary work area.

Open availability is preferred, with shifts between 7:00am and 9:00pm. Prior retail customer service experience is an asset, and a positive, can-do attitude is expected from every team member.

Qualifications

• Retail customer service experience preferred.
• Availability for open shifts and weekend work.
• Willingness to work early mornings and evenings.
• Ability to handle and display fresh products safely.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with selections.
• Operate a cash register and process transactions.
• Share product knowledge with customers to improve choices.
• Keep deli area stocked and well presented with fresh products.
• Ensure only freshest products are displayed and rotated.
• Assist customers with inquiries and provide a positive experience.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and proper equipment usage.
• Use knives and other tools safely to prepare and present foods.

We are hiring for a Deli Clerk at our location in Prince Albert, SK.

Open availability is preferred.

Shift times are between 7:00am - 9:00pm.

You will be responsible for:

• Going the Extra Mile for our customers and fellow team members.

• Operating a cash register.

• Sharing product knowledge with customers.

• Ensuring the department is well stocked and presented.

• Ensuring only the freshest products are displayed.

• Handling customer service inquiries and providing a positive customer experience.

• Cleaning equipment and work area to ensure a safe and sanitary work environment.

• Using a variety of equipment, including knives.

You have:
