Job summary

Pete's Frootique & Fine Foods is seeking a friendly Deli Clerk to serve customers at the deli counter, prepare and package food items, and maintain freshness and quality across the department.

You will rotate stock, uphold food safety standards, and provide knowledgeable service in a fast-paced environment. Lifting up to 50 lbs may be required, with opportunities to learn and grow within the team.

In this fast-paced, customer-facing role, you will serve customers at the deli counter, prepare and package food items, and ensure products are presented attractively and maintained at the highest standards of freshness and quality. You will provide friendly, knowledgeable service while helping customers select items that best suit their needs.

You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked service area, rotating product to ensure freshness, and supporting food safety standards at all times. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure are essential. This role requires flexibility and the ability to stay organized in a busy, service-driven environment. Applicants must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
